Martin Le Franc's poem Le Champion des Dames is the most important poem to have been inspired by the Cause des femmes, the debates around which enthralled the entire Middle Ages.   This poem also describes the music that was performed at the Burgundian Court and also names the Court's principal composers, Binchois and Dufay.   Their songs express Martin Le Franc's text perfectly.   Continens Paradisi aims to recreate this moment that was so rich and important for European art by reuniting these three great artists in the defence and honour of 15th century womanhood.
