César Franck composed for the harmonium almost throughout his career.   It was nevertheless at the very end of his life that he busied himself intensely with the instrument's liturgical repertoire, undertaking the composition of a vast collecdon of works that have become known under the somewhat disturbing tide of L'Organiste.   Joris Verdin here presents Franck's complete works for harmonium, recorded on several french instruments of the period that were built by the most well known harmonium builders of the time.
